Belize, formerly known as British Honduras, is located on the
Caribbean seaboard of Central America, just next door to the southern
tip of Mexico. Belize covers just over 9,000 square miles of tropical
forest and ocean paradise.
Ambergris Caye, the southernmost extension of the Yucatan Peninsula,
is a 25 mile long flat island made up of coral sand and mangroves. It is
just off the coast of mainland Belize. On its east side it is protected by
a living and ever growing barrier reef. The reef touches Ambergris
Caye at its northernmost point and lies ½ mile east of the island once it
reaches San Pedro Town.

San Pedro Town is a fishing village on Ambergris Caye which over the
past few decades increasingly has become more of a destination for
tourists and scuba divers than simply the quiet and secluded fishing
village it once was. Despite its growth as a tourist and water sports
enthusiast’s paradise, San Pedro Town still maintains a genuinely
charming and thoroughly enchanting small town atmosphere.
The Royal Palm Condos are
located along the beach almost 1½ miles south of San Pedro Town.
They are easily accessible by motor vehicle, bicycle or boat. Also, a 25
minute leisurely stroll along the coral sand beach or along Coconut
Drive will accomplish the same task.
